Inukshuks (pronounced in-ook-shooks) originally served as direction markers in the harsh and desolate Arctic; they were a tool of survival and a symbol of unselfish acts of the Inuit people. The Inukshuk guided people across the frozen tundra, giving them a sense of connection as well as hope in barren places to handle the hardships they might encounter.

Real Estate Masters Guild built its logo around an Inukshuk because of its significant connection to our core beliefs and vision; leaders committed to helping one another and growing together.

Many real estate professionals feel isolated working in such an independent environment. The Inushuk symbol embodies the human spirit on its journey and provides evidence that we do not take that journey alone. It reminds us of the importance of friendship and community.

Each stone is a separate entity, yet each supports, and is supported by the one above and the one below it. No one piece is any more or any less important than the other. Its strength lies in its unity. Its significance comes from its meaning as a whole.  The Inukshuk reminds us of our interdependent responsibilities to invest our efforts today, to direct a better way for all of us tomorrow.

Real Estate is our industry of focus. Our founder, Amy Stoehr has been in the real estate business since 1992, and is passionate about serving real estate professionals and helping them to become better servants of their clients and markets. The industry has changed dramatically over the years, and will continue to experience big shifts as changes in financing, the economy, access to data, and more reshape how real estate is done.

Masters is a term that implies mastery, and mastery of the real estate business and over our lives is our goal. One definition of master states: a person eminently skilled in something, as an occupation, art, or science. Our mission is to help all our members achieve levels of mastery in business aspects and in life. We are in the business of building Masters - the best in their industry at what they focus on.

Guild refers to an organization of persons with related interests, goals, etc., especially one formed for mutual aid or protection. Because we believe so strongly in the Guild concept, our programs incorporate one-on-one mentoring and ongoing accountability for every member.  And as members of the Guild, we support one another and our shared interests.
